Almost done with LPN school in 2 months!

Published

Here's an update on my nursing career. I'm almost done with LPN school :) Everything is going so good and I even got an aide position in a hospital lined up. I've just been accepted into an RN program but it isn't my first choice. I'm so excited to get my nursing career started and so happy that I got a 2nd chance to get my RN. I'm so excited!

Congratulations:up:

where did you get accepted for the RN?

I got accepted at NCCC in Sanborn. It's not my first choice for RN school but they have a quick acceptance process and don't need to look at your LPN license right away. On the flip side, I'm still pending for Trocaire's RN program. I need my license before I can apply. I've also tried getting into GCC in Batavia but their admissions is tough.

I tried to tell you GCC is tough lol but I'm happy you got in a program! How far is NCCC from you???

It's 42 minutes away. GCC looks easy from afar until you see their deadlines and strict requirements. They're the only school who won't take my chemistry because it doesn't have lab to go with it and you need some reading requirement to get in and they won't take English in place of it. I just took the ACT today to see if I have a chance to test out of a reading course.
