17) Once a co-worker and I voluntarily scheduled to work 2 - 16 hour shifts with 8 hours off in between. All staff called in on our off shift. We were unable to find replacements and were required to remain. We worked in a group home for developmentally and physically disabled children and young adults. Security staff arrived at the home to allow us to sleep and periodically woke us up to make rounds and pass meds. Replacement staff was found for what would have been our 4th shift.
