Aiken Tech Fall 2014 hopefuls!!

Has anyone applied for the ADN program at Aiken Tech? I know the deadline for applications isn't until May 30th but I have had my paperwork ready and submitted it today and the suspense is killing me ALREADY!! Just wanted to see if anyone else was waiting to get in and wanted to see how many points others had, their GPA and teas scores.

Finally feel like I am getting a little somewhere now.. :) I received my lab results back and everything checked out good for those titers so I just submitted that paperwork for the Varicella and Hep B. I also submitted my completed form from the school for the Immunizations/Physical for the Physical Exam section as well as what I had for the Tetorifice shot. Therefore, I have 4 things showing as "pending review" and 4 things showing as "completed". The other two are the CPR certification which I cant really do anything about and the Influenza which I think I am going to wait on. Hopefully, these documents I just submitted today get approved and I can be done with this and only have to worry about orientations, drug testing and getting ready for school to start!!! :) :) Cant wait! So how are you guys coming along? Hope everything is going smoothly for ya!

I'll have my last two items completed today, I just need my MMR and Tetorifice, I'm going to the doctors office in 15 minutes to get them. So I'm set too.

I'm also waiting on the flu vaccination, there's no point in getting one right now, all we could find would be last season's shots, next seasons should be available in September.

Ok, I have everything ready now, my form is filled out and everything has been submitted, except for the CPR documentation and the influenza vaccine. I also have four things showing as "Pending review" and my background check isn't finished yet, but that should only take another day or two.

FINALLY!!! Everything is marked complete except those that we cannot worry about right now and only waiting on 1 more thing to clear on my criminal background check (which I'm not worried about-LOL). Can't believe that in less than 1 week we will all be sitting in orientation together! :)

My last submission, the physical, just cleared this afternoon and my background check finished yesterday. I am so relieved, yet again, I can't believe how stressful it is to have to just wait.

Thanks for all the updates guys! Sorry I haven't been on lately. I have everything uploaded but just have to get more documentation for my first tb test, but my second tb test cleared. I'm getting really excited for school, but also more nervous! My sister graduated from a BSN program in December so she was telling me tips on how to survive. I am now more nervous, but ready to see what we're getting ourselves into. Lol

Great Jesykahope! Glad things are coming together for you. Don't worry you are not the only one that is nervous and anxious all at the same time... I'm sure we will be just fine. I still just can't get over the fact that our 1st orientation is almost here. It felt like I would never see that day when I was taking prereqs. LOL.... Guess I will see you all Wednesday! :)

Hope you were all able to make your deadlines, and it seems you were. Looking forward to seeing you all at orientation tomorrow, dont forget to bring your medical records with you also! This is going to be fun, my wife is taking 5 classes including chemistry for the BSN program here in Augusta this semester too, and our 3 month old wants to get up to feed at all hours of the night still. I hope this first semester is the easiest one like I keep hearing. Either way, going to be pushing as hard as I can. See you tomorrow!

Don't worry we will all be fine! I'm hoping it's easier than I hear! Unfortunately my doctor's office really messed me up so now I don't have proper documentation for my first tb test, so I am going to cvs today to get a third one done. I'm just so stressed because I'm always one to be on time and make deadlines super early. But on certified background it says most of the stuff is due on the 4th so I'm hoping this is correct.

Dont worry too much, I asked Ms. Farmer about being late. She told me that if you run late, as long as they get everything before clinicals start that you should be fine. I was worried too, because I did everything at the VA hospital, and had no idea how slow they would be.
