Aiken Tech Fall 2014 hopefuls!!

Has anyone applied for the ADN program at Aiken Tech? I know the deadline for applications isn't until May 30th but I have had my paperwork ready and submitted it today and the suspense is killing me ALREADY!! Just wanted to see if anyone else was waiting to get in and wanted to see how many points others had, their GPA and teas scores.

It sounds like we do have to have them by orientation, the 30th, not the 25th. We only have to have the account set up and payed for by the 25th, everything else just has to be finished by orientation, and uploaded to the website by orientation. Just schedule the TB tests one week apart.

We all should meet up for coffee or something before orientation, I would like to know a couple of people going in, anyone up for that.

I just remembered that cvs has a minute clinic that can do the TB...they do accept certain insurances so I will probably just go this week and then again right before orientation. The physicals, however have to be paid out of pocket, so I will go to my doctor for that.

I'm using my free, yearly wellness checkup for the physical, I saved it just for this.

Good idea about using CVS for the TB tests, it would probably be cheaper than another appointment at my doctors office.

I know I'm kinda late in joining in this convo, but I just received my acceptance letter for fall 2014 too! Very excited! Now I have to kick into high gear again with all of these things we all have to do. Look forward to meeting you all!

Thanks! Really excited and nervous. I have a 2 year old and a 2 month old at home, and a very supportive wife. We can do this! But man, what's up with this grading scale? Wow

Congrats on your acceptance!!! It seems like a lot of us have little ones. My daughter is about to be one. One of my biggest fears is being so busy with school and not getting enough time with her and my husband.

That's my same fear Jesykahope. I hope I can find a good balance between school, studying and family.

Hopefully we will all find a way to find a good balance. Is anyone going to attend the math camp? I want to, but I don't know if I have someone to watch my daughter.
