Agency Demanding Cg Username And Password

I guess it boils down to your relationship with your agency. If you trust them it wouldnt be an issue. If they are Demanding it-it sounds to me like the 'trust' and relationship may have been lost. I entrusted mine because they have always been Upfront and honest with me plus I have also been in contact with my immigration atty. and my recruiter and we work through issues together as a team not just for myself but for others in our group.

Don't allow them dude. It's yours, don't give it to them because they will change it, the worst you will be tied forever to them. This is modern slavery, you know.

Why would they ask for you're username & password, you can check your account on your own...plus you're not computer illiterate.

I paid for all CG services ordered.

The thing is, I signed the Third Party Authorization to Release Info form where the maintenance of username and password is not mentioned. a provision for revoke is, however included.

When I looked at the CG website just now, it says that authorization of a third party does not prevent the applicant's maintenance of his/her own individual username and password or checking his/her own ind'l status. Now, why couldn't CG include this tiny detail, w/c I found in the tools section of their website created for employers and recruiters, in the form that the applicants sign?

Of course, the agency will know now that I'm asking around CG since they will have access to my correspondences as well.

Josie1 is right.It all depends on your relationship with your agency.If you know them well enough(by research and communicating with other nurses they have sent to the US) and trust them then I think its just alright to give it to them.Besides, if you want to cancel their access to cgfns, its just easy to inform cgfns about it.

If the nurse has paid for the CGFNS products, then there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to give the username and password to the agency/recruiter.

One thing that you may not have thought of and could happen: They can change the address so that they have access to your documents and can keep you from getting anything as CGFNS will only deal with one person for your accout. Please be very careful with this, especially if you were the one that paid for it.

If the agency paid, then they have the right to have access to it. For any other reason, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever that they need it. And if pressuring you to give it to them, then there is definitely something fishy that they are up to and it is not any good.

Anyone experienced this? Did you give your username and password to your agency?

I've seen an agency which visited Bacolod in the first quarter of 2007 and in one of the forms they asked:

CGFNS USERNAME:

CGFNS PASSWORD:

Not only that, they already have a ready made 3rd party authorization and some authorization for the NYSED bon where they will stand in for you, hence you won't be hearing anything from NYSED until they'd(agency) give it to you.

I would never sign up with an agency doing this.

If the agency was actually the one that financed everything, they actually may have a right to do so but if the nurse paid for everything on her own then that's another story
