After graduation present.......

Published

I know this may be looking ahead, but may also provide motivation.... Starting school in 4wks, and was wondering what everyone planned to reward themself with after school was over in 2 years......

I am buying a Cervelo P3 carbon, 4500.00 triathlon bike.....

Not trying to be materialistic, just merely trying to relieve my own stress through hearing others thought of after school....

Hmm, boobs would be totally out of the question since that would just make me want to have sex and we gave that up years ago.

Well I took my wife to Chucky Cheese's for graduating from nursing school (undergraduate), and our honeymoon, and she plans to take me there when I graduate with my BSN (this is also where we go for our anniversary, and birthday presents a scenario that our four year old son approves of). I would say that for something very special like graduating from CRNA school a goal that we will have worked on for well over a decade by that time, well for that I would have to pull out all the stops and make it Chucky Cheese's with a movie or maybe bowling afterwards ( yes I know ladies my wife is a lucky woman).

Chuckie Cheese! You smooth devil! With info like this, its on like Donkey Kong!

The week that I received confirmation of my licensure, I rewarded myself with this.

Where was this picture taken, the snowy mountain looks awesome.

Thats Glacier National park. Taken in June.

I'll be graduating from undergrad in 2007; my boyfriend will finish culinary school in 2006. After we both work for a year or two, we're going to take a trip around the world, volunteering along the way (hopefully in various medical related sites!) and eventually spending 6 months in France where I will FINALLY learn to communicate with his relatives.

We started saving and planning about a year ago and it's been motivating both of us ever since. Of course, you have to have your short-term rewards as well: right now, we're finally moving into our own place without any roommates.

I bought an 05 prius to save gas while in CRNA school.. Its really helping and I love it!!!!

Graduating 6/06.

2006 Hybrid car with all the options

maybe a tummy tuck

My wife is requesting the same mustang when I graduate, it is a sweet ride!!! She hasnt mentioned wanted bigger boobs, but heres hoping!!!

You're such a romantic! After you get out of CRNA school, you may be able to move up to celebration station!!

About the boob thing, since you're a guy I would pass on that item...

I am in serious need of the 2007 Shelby Mustang that is on all magazine covers lately. All I need to do is promise to replace my wife's 160,000 mile toyota minivan (that will totally be worn out after I graduate).

I would want to go to Europe on vacation again, but my wife wants to relax somewhere like Sandals. I am so "high speed" though...

I finally got in my house this week (at $200 over what I wanted to spend) and my movers brought all my long lost furniture (since 12 March). Everything is falling into place finally! Orientation starts the 15th of August for me :)

Good luck with starting school everyone!

I took my sister to Kauai. Wonderful support she gave me.

Paying off my student loan. And shopping for clothes. These were my thoughts many yrs ago before I graduated.

Vacation in the BAHAMAS- or 11-day Caribbean Cruise........Can't wait...

Such wonderful ideas!! Don't know what kind yet (as there may be many more/different options available by the time I can list CRNA as my occupation), but I want to go to a car dealership and handpick everything exactly like I want it....don't have the GARNET I'm looking for? Custom paint it, please. Don't have enough cupholders? Find a way to make it work for me. Being the lowly ADN student I am :o , I'm also looking forward to being able to sometimes buy just the things we WANT instead of what we NEED (hubbie and 2 preschool girls).

Thanks for sharing, SRNA's!!! All we need sometimes is to hear others dreams to keep us focusing on ours as we wade our way through school.

(Gosh, I love this forum....)

Big-time kitchen remodel. All the way - brand new appliances by Kenmore Elite, semi-custom KraftMaid cabinets, Corian counters. Can't WAIT!

Sanity...amen to that!

Whatever the little misses heart desires for working her tail off to get me through school. Also a trip with the kids to try and get reaquainted with them. I will be the long distant dad for over 2 years once I am done. My oldest will off to college before I am done in 2007.
