Welcome to Allnurses.com...................and the International Forum.
Please take the time to read the stickies at the top of this forum, they will answer most of your questions. The legitimate agencies or hospitals will not even consider you until you have passed the required exams.
You are also just coming in to when the retrogression will start, so you will have time to prepare. And to do things properly.
Hi Suzanne! good day to you....... I'm a Registered nurse here in the philippines and working now in a Government hospital for 6 months. Would you mind helping me on what exams to take...Can you give me the lists of the states that accepts NCLEX exam alone and has the fastest approval/processing of application? Thank you so much!

try reading the primer at the top of this forum, plenty of states accept NCLEX without CGFNS exam but you need to decide where you want to live.
i would suggest to avoid these agencies. just look at the numeries threads on agency horror stories. you might say that you wouldnt mind a lower salary as long as you get here. but thats not the only inconvenience. the worst is when your application gets delayed for so long bec the agencies dont file them.
go direct hire. take the cgfns/nclex. take the english exams. do your visa screen. once your finished with this, apply online to the hospitals. a lot have done this.
hi,im lost what state would i choose for my initial licensure, vermont's requirement is easy but i dont have any relatives there, i have one in nj but the requirements are a lot to me, financially and resources speaking. pls help me to decide, can i contact a hospital in vermont even i have nobody to assist my application there ?i mean relative...thanks
Initial licensure is nothing to do with a hospital. You don't have to ever work there. You need to pick a state you want to work in first. Then get licensed. Then get an employer. If the employer is in a different state, you can apply to endorse your license across to the second state.
:yeahthat: but also to mention try and pick a state which will give you your license without a SSN as that is usually the problem when going from a state who requires it before issuing license and you go to another state to work
