Advice In CA on how fast you can get your name up on the BON website

Does anyone know how long it takes for your name to show up on the BON website after you have sent them the money for your license in CA. I am still waiting for my letter saying I passed and once I get that I am just deciding what is the quickest way to get my name up on the BON website, im debating flying up to Sacramento and walking my money in but im not sure this will speed up the process. I already have a job lined up and im not sure how much longer they are going to hold the job for me, it has been 4 weeks today since I have taken the test. I was hoping to get my results this week but the BON said they just sent out March 17th's results so that means I probably wont get my results this week. So irratated, such a long process. Well any advice on what you think I should do would help, Thanks!:icon_roll

If it has been four weeks, your results should be coming out any day now.

Hopefully, The board sent out results for the 17th today so probably this week or next week

i would say wait for your official result first... anything can happen u know what i mean?... but if you're really sure u passed then that's great! two of my friends passed the board 2months ago one of them went all the way to sacramento and the other one send hers by mail, BOTH their names showed up on the website at the same time after a month... hope this helps GOODLUCK!

i took my nclex march 11 and got my result april 16 so that's 37 days of horrible waiting.. this is your 4th wk (am i right?) you'll get it soon! let us know your good news!!!:yeah:

Yes this is my 4th week of torture! I hope I get it by the end of the week, I will let you know as soon as I get it. I am still debating about going up to Sacramento, my mom lives up that way so I could visit her, im just not sure if going up there would speed up the process of getting my license.

Ugh, one month is such torture, I am so sorry! I took my exam on Monday, April 20th and am already dying over here! I know it's futile to complain but I thought CA was cutting edge-- so why don't we have quick results again? Is it the sheer number of applicants? Maybe...

I haven't been sleeping at all. I toss and turn and the questions pop into my head and I resist with all my might to look anything up. I looked one thing up but haven't let myself do anymore. I think it would make me feel worse! I don't know if I can resist for a month.

For those who have been waiting for a while, are you looking for work anyway? I figure I might as well. . .

The waiting is killing me too!!! I was so hoping that you would have received your letter on Monday. Knowing that I took the test 2 weeks after you......and you still don't have your results yet only means that I still have a long time to wait for mine!!!! Why does Cali have to be the only state to take this long?!?!

I know how you guys feel even though I waited for the result for only 3 days. I took NCLEX on March 16, and my name was on BON on March 19. However, some of my friends had to wait for 1 week, 2 weeks,.....even a month....and they passed. Good luck.

Hey Teresa! How funny, the wait is killing me, it has been 30 days today and still nothing, I got a letter today to renew my CNA license but when I saw the envelope I thought it was my results, talk about a buzz kill. Oh well Carl called on Monday to the BON and they said they were just sending out march 17th's results so I think I probably wont get mine till next week:madface:

That's just wrong.......wrong I say!!! That means that we (California LVN students) can all expect a 5 week wait to get our results. Geeez....as if waiting 4 weeks wasn't hard enough. :banghead:
