Advanced pathophysiology

I'm taking advanced patho this Fall and I'd like to spend the remaining weeks of summer reading up a bit before class starts. Can anyone who has taken this class recommend what I should be reading up on? Which parts did you wish you'd known more about before the class? I have ordered my textbook and also the Clinical Pathophysiology Made Incredibly Simple book and I'd like to get a head start.

Thanks all. No, I am in the acute program at UCONN.

There seems to be a lot of us who are starting programs this fall and will be taking some of the same classes the first semester. Maybe we should start a generic group or thread to come back to share tips/experiences with each other? It would also be a good place for those researching where they'd like to apply, to see differences among schools.

I'll actually be starting my second year, but I'd love to be part of this group.
