I'm curious, does anyone NOT have Med Surg 1 and 2 or Adult Health 1 and 2 and just have it all in one class/semester?

Ours is called something like Care of the Adult Client 1&2, and each is 12 weeks.

We have Nursing Care of the Acute and Chronically Ill Adult (Med-Surg) 1, 2, & 3. They are each 7.5 weeks long. Med-Surg 1 is taken in the 2nd semester. Med-Surg 2 & 3 are taken in the last semester.

I have them split between 2nd and 4th semesters. Medsurg I is 16 weeks long and medsurg II is 10 weeks long.

We had Care of the Adult Client first and second semesters, then Critical Care third semester. I couldn't imagine adult care all in one semester.
Thanks! My school has it all in one semester and I hadn't heard of any of schools doing it that way. It's our second semester, out of 3 semesters for some of us. We do OB and peds during the summer.
Correction: Adult health 1 is 16 weeks long. Adult health 2 and 3 are each 8 weeks long.
It's interesting to see the variations between schools.

We have 2 classes per semester (each 8 weeks). This semester is Med/Surg and Maternity/OB. In our last semester, we revisit Med/Surg, but it's broken into Advanced Acute Care and Advanced Chronic Care. So, that gives us 24 weeks total of Med/Surg.
