Would adult cam modeling affect your licence or ability to get a job?
Didn't stripping, or exotic dancing I guess, used to be the way some women paid their way through school? Going online seems like the natural step, in that vein I mean.
Yes, but the difference is that it meant the patron had to actually get up and go to a strip joint where he might or might not be recognized. That likely limited the number of people who would actually take that chance so the stripper's risk was fairly low. The internet is private and you don't even have to leave your house which greatly increases the number of people seeing her and consequently the risk of her being recognized. And once it's out there it's out there forever. Even worse, it's searchable.

What is the deal with adult web camming being the new topic on adult nurses. I hate to say, we may need a sticky on it.
Here is the deal: If it is legal in your state, and you have no self-worth or self-dignity and you don't really care what your family or neighbors think, have at it.
If it's legal, it does not affect your licensure. However, if you think an employer cannot discriminate against you because they don't want to be associated with that kind of trash, there isn't a law in this country to protect you.
So, don't come crying later and post that you can't get a job because your camming activities have cost you a job, prevented you from getting a job, or your co-workers are snickering behind you, guys only want to date you for one reason, etc.
The internet is forever. Remember that.
