At my school they did last year. That is why they changed it from late January to Feb 1. Good luck with getting it fixed. Just pray and you will get what you need. Maybe the order in the end won't matter and youll get into your #1 school of choice.

I finally was able to speak to someone today, she seemed very confused. She remembered me and thought she had made the correct. I was told that the corrections were made today. Going to sit back and relax now, there is nothing more I can do.

I know how you feel! I have the points for my app but have no clear answer as to how they are going to use them ! I have 5 days to go until the deadline and I feel like I'm going up against the executioner! I wanna know my fate now. My school has waitlists and I don't know how I'd feel if I got on them. I have worked so hard these last two years to get here. Ugh, I needed to get that out!

I was telling my husband that we would probably win the lottery before I'd get into nursing school !

I am glad to see we are all still hanging in there! I am getting nervous about the next two months that I have to wait... :/ I hope it goes by fast with me having microbiology and working all the time..

I need some advice. My Nursing school application status update on the school website is listing my preferences the wrong order. I am attempting to apply to evening/weekend programs for my first and second choices, and a day Program for my third choice. When I log on, the day program is listed as my first choice. I was finally able to reach the school last week but I am concerned about the status, because it hasn't changed in the computer, ans the admissions person thought it was odd that it wasn't changed after the first time I contacted her. My friends think I should drive to the school Monday and speak with someone in person to make sure my application will be considered for the correct program. I was having dinner with friends and family to discuss this last night. They all feel this is too big to leave to chance. The school sent an email stating not to contact the schools during the application process. I have no idea what to do.

I would go. They tell you not to be it slows them down. But it would ruin your plans for nursing school if you get into then wrong program. What can they do to you? All they can say is that they can't help you. I would go and get doubt out of my mind.

same here... my CC deadlines are 2/8 and 3/15 so i am really wishing the time fly by lol:lol2:

Well, I just received some stressful news last week. The first batch of students will find out in March and then again in June and then again in August in case some decide not to go through with NS. This semester I am talking College Writing ll and Inorganic Chem(which to me is really hard). After this semester, I will only be left with four classes: Organic Chem, Nutrition, Micro, and Human Growth. I thought about taking Human Growth and Micro over the summer that way if I am accepted into NS, I will only have to deal with Organic Chem and Nutrition. Which I cannot even take Nutrition until both of my Chem classes are done. Anyway, I was asked if I was good at Chem and I told the Secretary in the Nursing Depart NO! She then advised me to take Organic Chem during the summer even though it will be faster paced because if I enter the nursing program in the fall and take Organic chem and happen to fail, I will get kicked out from the program and will not be able to proceed to the spring semester. I will have to reapply all over again. No pressure at all! :eek:

Hello I met with my school counselor, she called the Director of Admissions at my first choice school. The problem was resolved. I was given bad advice and incorrect information. Sometimes you need to be the squeaky wheel.

Our deadline was today and people were still taking the TEAS. I am so happy I like to do stuff ahead of time, I took mine in November. Even though I could have done better (80.0%) I didn't have the money to retake it so I am praying to God that I have enough points.

I am glad you have gotten your situation worked out. I know how stressful something is when you are caught off guard when you thought you covered all of your bases. Something always seems to happen but that just God testing our faith.
