Admission to BHSON 2014

Hi,

I recently submitted my application to Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing for this fall. Who is with me? I'm so excited yet nervous. I hope I get in. Anyone got and acceptance letter ye?

Lol I've been on myself I went on this morning and it listed the classes I am registered for this upcoming fall and the classes that transferred in. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same thing? Have you logged in recently?

I took Lifespan psych 202 and on the BHSN site it says they accept Child Development 201. I read on this thread that they accept lifespan. Can you tell me who did you talk to? I keep calling to verfy they take it because if they don't I will take it over the summer. I pray they do!!!

Have you tried calling Yolanda? Where did you take your lifespan psych class?

I took lifespan at Gateway. I've been calling the main number so I will try to contact her directly...Thanks

I have a dilemma. I believe i got in to Springfield Techs program. Now I don't know. I live in Middletown so the drive to STCC is easier (along with family being up there-one of the reasons I applied).

Anyone have thoughts. These are two very comparable programs. And I really didn't think I was going to get into STCC.

When I log in it just shows the 2 nursing classes, hoping it shows the ones that transferred in soon. I'm sure it will be updated soon.

@Mekhismom, I also emailed Yolanda and let her 2 vm to ask about the life span vs child development. I too took it at Gateway and was going to take it over the summer if they don't accept it. Was hoping Yolanda got back to me so I knew, but I understand they are busy.

@Penholder, that's a tuff call, I don't know much about the other program but maybe write down the pro's and con's of both and see if that helps.

Kellyre-I wrote down the pros and cons and they are almost tied! I am going to wait to see if I can find out about transfer credits before I decide.

Sure I don't mind sharing I got a B+ IN A&P 3.8 GPA and 70 on my teas I have to assume that my GPA saved my a$$ , as I have seen more impressive TEAS scores here online.
