Hi,

I recently submitted my application to Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing for this fall. Who is with me? I'm so excited yet nervous. I hope I get in. Anyone got and acceptance letter ye?

Sorry to hear that. Wishing you the best of luck I know it will be hard but it is not impossible. Thank you for sharing the information. I have been wondering what it was like and no one has really posted anything. Many of the others on here that were accepted seemed to give up their seats to attend somewhere else and no one has posted in awhile.

Yeah we actually got our entire nu 101 schedule and were able to sit down with our professors for that course and go over everything, they answered questions we all had. Then we went over our schedule and the coreqs we have and our financial aid. It was upsetting for me because I found out alot of my courses from my bachelors degree didn't transfer over and I did not realize you had to take coreqs at another school so I've been frantically trying to apply to gateway and middlesex. Cause another kicker, you need to have all coreqs done by January if you are interested in the accelerated track. So now I'm tying to take 5 courses before January on top of nursing. I already missed the first summer session for the schools. Wish me luck! But yea, it was a very informative day. I wish we had more of a chance to meet other students in our program. It was mostly a one on one day.

Ah :( good luck! What courses did they deny to transfer in?! I have a lot as well I hope they take mine.

A&P 1&2 but don't even get me started on that. I'm have my bachelors in biology and have taken at least 5 different types of A&P courses- but none of them counted cause they weren't the SPECIFIC course. I'm truly baffled.

Hi, everyone! I hope your first year has been good to you. Any tips or tricks you would like to share? I'm starting in September! Whoo hooo! Being wait listed last year helped to prepare me to reapply with a stronger application this year and it worked! :) I'm very nervous, yet excited to start my nursing journey. Please, if you would like to give some advice, I'm all ears.. Well, eyes. 😜
