I have to get my ACLS certification in Feb. and I was wondering if anyone has any advise for me in regards to the course, course difficulty, and any tips on how to pass it.Thanks.
Never forget your BLS. Good, solid CPR is the cornerstone of any successful code.
Take your time with the megacode situation, study your meds and rhythms (and which ones go together) - they basically set up the course for success.

ACLS was easy and a blast for me. My instructors were awesome and we went thru so many practice mega codes, the real mega code was a breeze. If you get your book 1st, do the practice CD and spend some time on the major drugs. Pay attention in class, ask questions and practice each skill over and over until you feel comfortable.
I really enjoyed ACLS, much more than some of my other "required" classes.
