Got my acceptance letter for the LPN/EMT to RN bridge program from Hutchinson CC in KS!! Very excited to be going back. I also got my CNA and LPN through this school and have been very happy with it. Now to figure out how to juggle FT work and FT school for the next year. Kinda intimidated! But it'll be so worth it. :)

I'm sorry, the chances aren't really good. Everyone pretty much takes their spots because it's so difficult to get into the program.

If I’m not mistaken, you were accepted the last cycle...how have you enjoyed the program? Any tips or concerns you’d give? I’ll be starting this Spring.

Yes I'm currently in the program. Graduate in 2 months. I have really enjoyed the program as a whole. It's had it's struggles with Covid and virtual clinicals, but they've kept the program going.

Forgive me for being rude, but Congratulations on getting accepted! As far as any tips just stay organized and on track. The best thing for our class has been that we started a facebook group in the very beginning. We have used it to bounce ideas off of each other, ask questions, and just get to know each other. There are times if it wasn't for that many of us would've been lost.
You will have a drug calc test the beginning of each semester. You have 2 chances to pass. If you don't pass you are out of the program. As long as you study you'll be fine.
The instructors are great and super helpful. If you have any other questions feel free to send me a PM.

Yes I took Micro through Edukan at Pratt Comm College online. There was no problem with the transfer being accepted. Hutchinson just doesn't offer an online Micro class.

Doane university
Mine was online and it was through New Mexico Junior College. Online with online lab and accepted by Hutch. Nothing shows any different on the transcript from in person ones. NMJC uses Canvas which is the same as Hutch, so that’s nice and the price is really low. I highly recommend them.

Hopefully you can get in this time around. Hutchinson is really compatible with my schedule I work 12 hour night shifts.
on the Rubric I had a 33 out of the 44 wonder if I’ll have to retake the Kaplan once again when I reapply.
