I just got accepted to the nursing program at Mercer. I am really excited and anxious as well. I would love to talk to anyone who will be going there in the fall of 2007.

Congratulations! What led you to choose Mercer? I am taking pre-req's at GPC and am trying to figure out which program I want to enter. THis will be a 2nd degree for me too.
good luck!!

congratulation
Mimi2nurse,
I has heard great things about their program and they really focus on the students. You get pratical experience right away that continues for three years, therefore making you more confident in your field.
Are you doing the prereqs now?
Yes, I am taking A&P at GPC currently. Does Mercer have a second degree program? Are you getting Financial Aid? It seems that Mercer is almost as expensive as Emory!
hello guys

Mercer is a GREAT program. It's half the price of Emory, do-able in 2.5 years, VERY well respected (vast majority of new grads are hired straight into specialties), and financial aid is available - even to 2nd degree students. I would go there all over again.

Hi,
I am a new member here and I read your post. I was wondering if you graduated from Mercer because I was also accepted into the Fall 07 class and I really would like to hear how the program was as far as the instructors, the way the classes were set up, etc. Please give me as much information as possible.
Thanks

Congrats! Hopefully, I will be there in the Fall, too. I hear it's a great school, and many students are able to work as assistants after the very first semester! How long did it take for you to hear from them after sending in your information?
Hi Sue421,
Congrats to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did submit my 200.00 nonrefundable fee along with my reservation form but that's the only form I have submitted. I am assuming that during orientation they will further discuss the forms that have to be completed.
