Accelerated Programs!

Please can someone direct me to a link that gives EVERY accelerated Nursing program available. I would like more info on programs in the PA/DE area. I've been to various sites, and for some reason they don't list ALL of the schools that offer accelerated programs for people with a bachelors already. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually I've been to that site several times and it does not list all of the accelerated programs in the PA area. For example, Drexel, and that is a popular one on the boards but you don't see it on there. Rutgers offer one in NJ, but you don't see NJ up there.

Hello, Ling07,

Not sure this lists all accelerated programs, but a good start including those in PA and DE:

Thanks for the link but just like I was telling the other poster, this site doesn't list all of the accelerated programs available.

Hi- I've found the following link pretty helpful. Just select "Accelerated BSN" in the Program field.

Hope it helps!

Actually, it might be better for you to look at all programs. Here's an example, we have several schools here in Nevada that conduct classes all year round. So at one school, a BSN will take 16months to complete, at another it takes 18 months, etc. You get the picture. They are not called accelerated because you don't need a Bachelor's already to get in, just have whatever prereq's they want done. I'm in the same situation. I already have a BA and have applied to the following in my area:

1 18 month BSN program

1 12 month accelerated BSN program (need a Bachelor's to apply)

1 24 month entry MSN (need a bachelor's to apply)

1 24 month BSN

The CA State Board of Registered Nursing has a link for accredited schools. It lists them separately by ASN or BSN, but if you click the BSN link, it does say Accelerated Fast Track in bold for each school that has it. So, my suggestion would be to check the BRN web site. :)
