I recently submitted my application for the accelerated BNS program. I saw that other semesters had discussions and I thought it would be nice to start one for us, just to help each other out through the application process.
I looked at past ones when I was filling out my application and found them to be helpful, so hopefully it will be for us.

That's so weird..The people that applied first are hearing last. My stuff still isn't checked off. Hopefully we hear back this week! I am calling Friday if I haven't received a decision. Goooooood luck to all! :grad:
I don't think we are going to hear Friday because the woman in charge of the nursing applications is out of town until Monday, so I am thinking next week. I sure hope soon, I can't handle anymore anxiety.
I was told by the same person who said she was out of town that a batch of notifications would be going out at the end of this week...but who knows!
Just a suggestion: I think it is getting a bit confussing with all the different admissions groups on here. The traditional and transfer program students may want to consider making a seperate thread for thier groups.
Just to be clear, who in the second bachelor AccBSN program has gotten a notification??
i actually hope the whole boxes being checked off means that our decisions are ready rather than still being reviewed lols.
btw i called today and it was the same ol same ol, applications under review. don't know when the next batch will be released. can be around early may to mid may.
I've been wanting to start a page for all the traditional nyu transfers but I couldnt quite figure it out and wasn't sure if there were that many using this site. So are there any other traditioonal applicants willing to create the site since idk how?
OK... I'm an Accelerated BSN student (second degree), and now this morning EVERYTHING is checked off on my Albert... college transcripts and high school/standardized tests. This is a bit contradictory from the e-mail I got on April 21st (posted on page 54 of this thread), but maybe that admissions rep was just confused about what kind of applicant I am (accelerated vs. transfer)?
Everything is checked off on my Albert account too. I just called admissions to find out if my application was being reviewed and she said there was no way to tell. However, because all of the boxes are checked off, she it it was probably sent to committee and that I should be hearing from them in the next couple weeks. Boo
BOOOO!!!! Haha. So, is there a difference between when they admit accelerated students vs traditional transfers? I sort of thought it was all the same.
Yup, I'm accelerated too, Clark. Was really hoping we'd find out soon. I wonder how many they "review" at once, and how often they actually are sending out admission notifications?
