Hi hopeful Fall 2011 NYU students!
I recently submitted my application for the accelerated BNS program. I saw that other semesters had discussions and I thought it would be nice to start one for us, just to help each other out through the application process.
I looked at past ones when I was filling out my application and found them to be helpful, so hopefully it will be for us.
Love to see who all is applying and how it's going:)

Kkandas, I wouldn't worry!! I've heard that NYU puts more emphasis on the actual application/personal statement than your GPA or your experience, so I'm sure you (and everyone else on this forum) will be FINE!
Good luck to jdubs99, clarkc27, DPmke and everyone else! :)
To those who were already accepted, I haven't gotten my actual email yet- do we have an admitted students day to meet people? I need roommates (and I'm impatient to find out everything I can about NYU, of course)!!
Hey everyone,
I've been following this thread for a while now, so I figured I'd finally register. I was accepted with first round...congratulations to everyone and good luck to everyone who is still waiting.
I'm from Long Island and I was originally planning on commuting, but after looking at the class schedule and thinking about it realistically, I think a 2 hour+ commute is just insane. Sooo...is anyone planning on moving to the city and looking for roommates? I'm definitely interested in living off campus (the dorms are more than an apartment) and I think living with other people in the program would be the most beneficial for studying and school purposes. Let me know
Again, good luck to everyone!

I still haven't applied for financial aid (which really sucks) because I had a lot of problems getting my W-2 forms and filing my taxes this year. I've never applied for financial aid before. Do any of you know how much of a negative impact applying for it now instead of earlier could have on me?
Also, I need to pay the $500 deposit by next week. Have all of you already put down the deposit?
No, I was looking at the website - it's all the way down at the bottom of this page:
Ott-
http://www.nyu.edu/nursing/academicprograms/bachelors/grads.html
click on the 15 month curriculum for fall entry...this gives you the list of classes you take each semester
http://www.nyu.edu/nursing/academicprograms/currentstudents/modifiedcalendar.html
if you click on the second option on the left (2010-2011 bs calendar clinical sequences), it also gives you a calendar up to 2012 of start/end dates for each semester
