I recently submitted my application for the accelerated BNS program. I saw that other semesters had discussions and I thought it would be nice to start one for us, just to help each other out through the application process.
I looked at past ones when I was filling out my application and found them to be helpful, so hopefully it will be for us.

This is my first time posting a message but I also wanted to say I was accepted so it awesome to see everyone else who did! The $$ factor is huge for me, and it may be the reason I don't decide to go to NYU sadly. We'll see. I was also waitlisted at SUNY Downstate so wondering what is going to happen with that.
JayNYC -- have you heard anything else or have any idea how many people are on the waitlist? Are you just going to wait it out or what is your plan?
Is anyone going to go to one of the open houses coming up?
I've also lived in NYC for 10 years so an expert on questions if you have them about where to live, etc!
If I do come, it will great to meet you all and glad everyone is as excited about Nursing school as me! I am a career changer myself :)
ACK! I am so nervous, I haven't received my decision yet, but communicated with an admissions person a few weeks ago, they requested my Microbiology mid-term grade and what Nutrition course I will be taking this summer.
I saw my Alfred updated to remove "application incomplete" in the past day or two, so I was hoping that was a good sign that I might hear today!
I have had butterflies in my stomach all morning and my nerves are officially fried!

I forgot to mention that I am going to visit NYU this afternoon. If anyone wants me to find out anything in particular or look around and relay any information on the facilities etc. just let me know!
What are the facilities like there? Modern or a little outdated? I am assuming top of the line but you never know. Did you get to look in a simulation lab at all? Meet any current students? Let me know what you think! I've walked by/through the NYU campus before but have never been in any buildings. And also, did you like it? Thanks for your help in advance!
