I recently submitted my application for the accelerated BNS program. I saw that other semesters had discussions and I thought it would be nice to start one for us, just to help each other out through the application process.
I looked at past ones when I was filling out my application and found them to be helpful, so hopefully it will be for us.

Ughh.... I was all hyped up for this weekend! Hey Joel and Scott, I took SCC 201 as well, it was so hard! But my prof was awful and he said he's even harder for 202. He only teaches evenings so if you're doing the day, you should be ok.
Unfortunately, I did not attend the open house. Did you you? Hey, May is only a month away and it will go faster than we think, so no worries! I think I'm just telling myself that, so the anxiety and anticipation is lessened. haha
Ha! I really hope we hear from them soon! March did go by fast but I am tired of waiting!!
Who knows they sent freshman early maybe we will hear from them sooner? Tomorrow is the official closing day of the deadline so we could really hear anytime now!! The website still says decisions will be sent out after April 1st at 5pm. And I know that could be anything but it also still says we can call April 4th to find out.. This gives me hope... LoL
I'm with you Em. In all honesty, if you look back at threads from past semesters of people playing this EXACT same waiting game that we are and stressing about the EXACT same things, they started finding out if they were accepted less than a week after their final deadline! It's April 1st! I feel like we've been waiting for this day forEVERRRR! I couldn't possibly wait another month. i had a micro exam yesterday and studying for it was almost impossible since all I could think about was checking my email every 10 seconds. UGH!
Hi Everybody! I'm new to this thread but I am so glad to have found this. I had so many unanswered questions about the application status (the unchecked boxes for HS transcript & standardized test scores), but my mind is put to ease now. I'm so anxious waiting for the application decision, hope everyone gets in :)
I just looked at past threads and it didnt make me feel any better. Some heard as soon as April 3 others May 12, and everything in between. Its ALL over the place. Really frustrating because I know we are all so anxious. I practically live on NYUs website constantly looking for any new news.
AND it doesnt help that I feel like everywhere I look theres NY stuff. Songs... clothes... commercials... movies... tv shows... Is this a sign? LOL

I picked Walt Disney. Im a disney nut and a kid at heart. Told them Id bring him to Disney world. Cheesy? Yes! But I am reading his biography at the moment and read he never got to see it finished and just recently went to Disney world so it was fresh in my mind. Ok now that Ive embarassed myself... Whos next?
Hi Joel! I don't think both classes are necessary as the prerequisite list only says 4 credit hours of chem with a lab. I contacted them before I took the class to make sure I had the right Chem class and they only mentioned SCC 201. You may wish to email them to be sure.
