ABSN UMass Amherst 2015

So, I would really like to get into UMass Amherst for there 2015-2016 cycle, so I will be sending in my application soon for there February 2015 deadline.

I'm just wondering if I even have a chance since my Bachelors in Biology overall GPA is a 2.99, then I took a summer course (Microbiology) at a community college and received an A. Hopefully that'll boost my GPA up for my degree?

I also have over 2,500 hours as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and I've studied abroad in England/Ireland for a Biology course.

This is my number one school that I would like to get into too, I was just wondering other peoples statistics on their GPA average, GPA for their pre-reqs, and if anyone has been or is in the program can tell me about it?

My letter was dated February 20 so I guess it was sent immediately after my interview

My interview is tomorrow :) This is my second time applying to the program- I applied last year and got accepted but waitlisted. They are really nice people, last year I did it via Fuze and this year I will be doing it face to face. All I can say is, most of their questions are very general and they really just wanna get to know you, that's all.

I'm nervous but everything happens for a reason so I feel confident whatever happens is the way that God intends it to be. Good luck to everyone who will have interviews soon and congratulations to everyone whose gotten accepted so far, so exciting. YAY! :)

I am in the same boat like you. I did my interview on 2/20 & am waiting impatiently for the outcome. As you said only God knows . Good luck tomorrow with your interview.
