ABSN Duke Fall 2010

Hi All!

I have decided to take the plunge and leave my career as a mental health therapist to gain a BSN in Nursing and hopefully move straight into MSN program. Is anyone else applying to Duke in the Fall??:yeah:

Estimated cost of attendance for ABSN program at Duke University: $84,000

Flight from MN - NC: $300, give or take a few bucks

BBQ with allnurses buddies: Priceless

OK I think I'm going to check airfare dates and fly out. I think I can get a good deal on airfare with Southwest. What airport do I fly into? Raleigh? I've only been to NC once!

How far away is the airport from campus? Are you guys having BBQ the night before or that Friday? I'll have to fly in Thursday to be there by 8am Friday.

I emailed the "event coordinator" to schedule it for the 29th. Hopefully we can all get that date and finally meet each other!

It's about 15 minutes from Duke without traffic. I'm assuming BBQ after Duke Days is over? Maybe a cold brew or two?

Ok, I didn't get an email. What does this mean? "She" told me I would be yes for interview. Will there be two rounds of emails????

They weren't kidding about Southern hospitality! I lived in Manhattan for 6 years. I'm so not used to it!

Being that I have to leave by 6pm on the 29th, I wouldn't be able to grab a beer with you guys anyways...so I might need to rent a car.

OK I have an anatomy final tomorrow that I need to study for. This is all so distracting!

I don't know....can you call her and clarify? Maybe they missed a letter in your email address.
