I wanted to start a topic about ABSN program at CSULA for Summer 2018 and get some feedback about applying, stats, and more. I am looking to apply here and to other similar programs and I wanted feedback about your experiences.

My last name starts with an A...maybe that's why I heard quickly?

What email did the invite come from? I know I didn't get one just curious what to look out for. Thanks for all the info :)

Hey all, I wanted to say hi as I've been watching this site for a while but haven't posted! I'm feeling a little stressed. I received confirmation about my application when I dropped it off in early Jan but have not received an interview. I was just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat (confirmation, no interview). I really want to get into this program, so fingers crossed something will come through :)

Stats:

TEAS 99th percentile all areas

Overall GPA 3.6

Last 60 3.9

Pre-req all As except B+in writing

Healthcare experience: volunteer, work as a CNA in SNF and now a hospital

Wow everyone seems super qualified! Best of luck to everyone! I still have not received my confirmation email that they received my application, so yes I'm super worried now... do you think I should call them?

Yeah, wouldn't hurt to call and just confirm that they received it.

Yes, I finally got a confirmation email.. super relieved about that. The wait is killing me lol.

According to Professor Hinoki, their office is undermanned (she gets help from Mr. Prasanna who is a full time masteral student), so we need to be patient I guess. She did confirm that she received all my documents though. Good luck!
