ABSN Cal State San Marcos (CSUSM) Spring 2020

Just summited my application for the ABSN program at San Marcos for Spring 2020 last night! Thought I'd get a forum started for others who are applying as well instead of stalking all of the old forums. I took the TEAS a few days ago & am just waiting on some final transcripts to be sent to CSUSM.

Hi everyone! I was accepted too and would love to join the facebook group. So thrilled! Congrats to everyone. Can't wait to meet you all!

For those of you who have been admitted and submitted your intent to register, have you received any information on Orientation? or our next steps for all the clearances we need?

I've submitted my intent to register and accepted a notice of financial responsibility, but I haven't receive any additional information on orientation. I know we have to get a background check and drug testing but I haven't received additional information on that either.

I also have submitted my intent to register and my financial responsibility acceptance but haven’t received any information about a background check.
Perhaps they will send out the information when the cohort is full.

I have yet to receive information on orientation or specifics about the background check/drug test. I, too, think we'll be sent more details once the cohort is at capacity.

Does anyone know if they will tell you if you didn't get in? Or do you only hear back if you're accepted?? My application status still says "complete" on the cal state apply website!

Hi!

I just received an email with more information regarding our clearance items. In the email, I was advised to go to the following website to obtain more information: https://www.csusm.edu/el/programs/health-medical/bsnursingaccelerated/absnadmittedstudentinfo.html.

When I click the hyperlink "guide", it redirects me to another page instead of allowing me to view a PDF. Is anyone else having this issue? If not, would you be able to email me the PDF file please? ?
