...I have heard that pearson vue offers quick results for everyone EXCEPT folks here in cali ??!! i wonder why that is....As it is im going nuts here..I tested on friday..and we all know the BRN does not update on weekends...so i have barely ate anything, slept mabye 6 hours this weekend..have no fingernails left....and my gut feels like someone punched me...Like i said before i had 215 questions and everyday i feel like i didnt pass...in fact im so sure i didnt, i mailed off the re-test application and the 75 dollars ..so hopefully i can get a "jump" on things so i can test again right at 45 days...no paperwork hold up..
most people on this site are worried if they passed at 75 ?? man i would give my left arm if i had 75 questions..in my experiences, i have never even (personally) heard of anyone failing at 75..
Now..i think getting all 265 is better than what i got at 215...at 265 its like 50/50 ..i guess you "fool" the computer or something like that..but me at 215...uggghhhh
so anyway, here i am in front of the computer..with one browser opened up to the Perm lisc verif page..and my new best friend "Mr. refresh button"
Well another little tidbit of info for you. My friend that has not gotten her results yet called the BRN today. It turns out they have no record of her transcript even tho the school says they were sent weeks ago. She is driving the transcript up tomorrow, and I've heard when this happens as soon as they get the transcripts the results are posted. So.... you may want to call and make sure they have all your paperwork, it could be a little snafu that has nothing to do with how you did on the test :)
This waiting is killing her, but thank goodness it's an easy fix!
I agree with Lochness..... I know 2 people who took the test and didn't get results for 2-3 weeks because the BRN didn't have the transcripts. One of them had to drive to Sacremento to hand deliver them. So for those of you that are waiting, call your school to see if they were sent. If the school said they were already sent, maybe call the BRN to see if they were received and processed. They absolutely wil not tell you if you passed NCLEX until they have your transcripts. So here is the only (2) scenarios that i can possiby think of:
#1 The (person) who inputs the info on the BRN website, lets call him "bill", got sick and no one else can do "bills" job..
#2 Bill takes really long lunch breaks and inputs like 1 name per hour and updates the BRN website once a week ..(it does say on there.."updated mon-friday)..mabye that means JUST ONCE MON-FRI ????
and lastly
#3 I failed
period.
There is absolutely no other reason why after 6 days my name does not show up on there site.
I work the next 3 days 12hrs, i still have my RNIP and I do love my job
Im going to enjoy working my last 2 weeks for awhile.

i think i like your 2nd scenario,,specially for hopefuls like me,,,im still on denial for your 3rd one,,though I know that letter is coming anytime soon now,,,oh boy!!!! as they say,,there's still hope as soon as it didn't arrive yet! so like you, I'll be enjoying my few "thinking that i pass" days...cause as soon as that big envelope arrives....im doomed!!!!!!!But hey,,who knows! anything can happen,,,,( me..being hopeful again!)
Update! So my friend and I drove her transcript up to the BRN yesterday only to find out they had processed it the night before, go figure! At any rate she finally saw her name on the website today with those two huge letters after her name, RN! Yahoo! So it took a full 8 days for her to find out.

Depends on what state you took exam. Most states participate in quick results with pearsonvue, if your state BON doesn't if you have SSN then you should see your name on BON website but there can be a delay, otherwise will have to wait for snail mail which can be anything from 2-6 weeks approx
