HI everyone! Pinning ceremony last nite was AWESOME! Our class did a video which turned out pretty good! Just want to give a BIG THANK U to the people who created this site! When i failed out of RN school in 2011, other than pray for guidance i didnt know what else to do! I found this site & read a post someone posted about them failing out too & ended up going the lpn route like & did & she eventually went back to RN school passed & is currently a RN! That post GAVE ME HOPE! Ive read numerous post on here that have been up lifting & have given others like myself another chance! Not once has anyone given me the " maybe nursing isnt for you " speech & even if they did, I IGNORED IT! I finished # 2 in my class & will graduate with HONORS when we have graduation in december. I saw the teacher who told me to change my career path the other day & instead if letting my anger get the best of me. I smiled & waved & kept it MOVING! Im still gonna be on here because now im studying for nclex & ONCE I PASS I'LL BE A NURSE! I am going to continue to further my education by doing a lpn-bsn bridge program fall 2014 & hope to have my RN SPRING 2016! Again THANK YOU ALLNURSES. COM & members YOU HAVE TRULY BEEN A BLESSING TO ME!

That's fantastic, and you know, you have 'passed it forward' because in all probability there is someone out there who is waving themselves, will read your message and keep going. Well done and Congratulations.

Thank you Mrsladysoul83, you've encouraged me! I failed this last spring and am still experiencing the pain and guilt. My confidence is shot and I feel like I've lost my identity. Currently I am focusing on getting married! I know I won't focus on anything else till the ink dries on the marriage license. Once the FI and I settle I will start again. Seriously though, thank you for posting your story. It gives my dreams hope again, and after 4 years of undergrad + 1 year of RN school I need a little hope.
Thank you!
