A first for me in clinicals today

Published

I'm just so excited and happy still that I had to share! I put in my first foley today. A female foley at that. And nailed it on the first try!

While I was in the ICU today (with the best pair of nurses I've worked with yet) I got a great lesson in reading ECG strips, admissions, piggyback IVs and a whole host of other exciting things I can't tell anyone. (don't want the HIPPA to squash me.)

What did you do today that made you happy?

Thats awesome!!!! Glad to hear other students are doing well. I made and A on my mental health final today. Yayyyyyy. Finished with a B overall so Im having a good day!!!!!

Intentionally mis-spelled as a joke. Every time I see it that way I picture a hippo stepping on people.
