A&P 1: The Spring '05 Anatomy & Physiology Club

Published

Ok, no one has started this yet, so I guess I will. I start A&P I on January 18th, lab and lecture.

Here are a few good websites I have found...some are basic, some may be more indepth than your instructor asks for.....BUT it gives you a little more to look over before class starts next month! :) ....Never forget the website for your actual book too!!!!!!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU

anyone have any tips to be able to identify slides of tissue? We have quizes where we look at slides on a screen and have to identify what it is.

Do some online searches. My class is online, but I've been to some really great websites where I can look at all different kinds of tissues and cells. I ended up taking the practice test and getting 100% by learning the descriptions and studying pics. Good luck!

You motivate me--I really need to arrange a "date night" we received a gift card to PF Changs--(don't know who is familiar with it-but it's a very nice and tasty chinese restaurant) for Christmas & haven't been yet. I need to call my Dad and ask for some babysitting.

Have a wonderful evening!!

Ooooh! I love that place. Have the mai tai before dinner. :chuckle

F2C--- hope you had a nice evening out! Take a break from all that studying! :)

Can I join your club? I am in A&P right now and could really use the support.

Thank you for the warm welcome. A&P1 is going good, of course we are in the beginning and havent gotten to any of the hard stuff yet. I will let you know then how its going. :rotfl: My instructor is really good so that helps, I got a 98% on my first test. We are doing tissues now. He said we are going to do the next test on just tissues because he is going to go really indepth with it. UGH. I remember a lot of this stuff from my Bio 101 class so I am hoping it wont be too hard. Does anyone have any good websites that show slides of tissues that they would be willing to share? Thanks so much.

Hey, can I join this club too? I start school tomorrow and I have never had an A&P course. I have had biology and I really enjoyed those. I hope I can be apart of the club too cause I have a feeling I'm going to need all the help I can get with A&P.

Specializes in Operating Room.

hey all! just joined today and just wanna introduce myself. My name is angel and I am a soph. in undergrad. I hope to one day be a neonatal nurse. I am in A&P II right now and our first exam is on Friday on the Brain, Nerves and Spinal Cord! wish me luck! :crying2:

We have our first test on the 14th. I am not sure what to make of the course yet. I spend hours studying and I think I am doing OK so far.

I dread the lab exam though.

Good luck everyone!

We got our books today. I've been studying the first chapter for A&P. I was really worried before the first day but now that I've seen the book it like oh is that all. I really loved biology and after studying tonight I think I'm going to love A&P too. But what can I say I've always been weird like that :chuckle.
