Yes I'll definitely be using quizlet because it helps me a lot and flash cards as well! Do you recommend any specific YouTuber who posts about A&P? Yeah I definitely need to learn how to self teach because professors don't help at times!

Crash Course A&P is a good overview. Khan Academy has loads of videos on specific information and I used it a lot. Armando Hasudugan explains things well, and I liked the diagrams he draws. I've seen that RegisteredNurseRN has some A&P videos but I'm not sure how many she has and how in-depth since I've really only watched her more nursing subject videos. But those are good so I assume her A&P is also good and would probably focus more on what you need to know for nursing school.

They will let you take A&P and Micro at the same time? In my program, we had to have finished A&P 2 with a C or better (but realistically an A to get in the RN program), before we could take Micro. Just curious.

I would be cautious of taking a&p 2 and micro at the same time. Micro was by far my favorite but its a beast

I took Micro and A&P together and it was not as bad as I thought. Micro is easy if you have a good background from general bio. My Miro professor was horrible and a tough grader, but I ended up with an A just because I had a good background in general bio.

A&P 1 is mostly memorization; not hard at all, just study everyday. A&PII is very interesting but it really depends on how your professor teaches physiology. Mine was amazing. I didn't have hard time getting A in AP II.

for all these courses the key is to study almost everyday and don't procrastinate.

Good Luck

I quizzed myself over and over with free online quizzes. It's not just lecture, the lab tests are harder than the ones for lecture. There are quite a few decent apps that help with testing yourself with muscles and bones. I can't remember what they were exactly since it was a few years ago. It's a shame you don't have a text since mine had a lot of online adaptive learning. You really need to figure out what works since it's a ton of memorization.

Best of luck to you.

Micro... What I have to say about that class is unprintable. I don't recommend doing that in a short semester. I had it in a traditional semester and was stupid enough to take A&P II at the same time. I thought since I handled Chemistry with a lab with A&P I it wouldn't be that bad. I was so wrong.

Try looking up mnemonics for difficult to remember things. Pinterest has many of them or you could make your own,

Yes I agree lab was harder then the lecture itself, I used a lot of index cards for lab so that helped me a lot. I'll be buying the textbook next semester so it can help me. I really want to make an A or B but nothing lower.

Thanks!
