Anyone else taking it this fall? I start tomorrow! We are beginning with the endocrine system. After taking A&P I over the summer, the syllabus for the fall term looks leisurely! :chuckle

Need honest advice... I am 1/3 of the way through AP1 and the teacher gave us our average grade so far last night. Mine is an F!!! Do you think I can fix that? Should I quit? Should I just keep trying and assume I will be retaking the class and will know the material better the next time around? I really study hard and every day. I thought I had done better than that.

Hi all....

I'm soooo doing the happy dance right now..lol. I just found out my grade for the lab practical..and very happy to report that I got an A! I'm soooooo happy that i'm giddy! lol.

Hope everyone is doing well out there as well!!

Now onto studying the cardiovascular system....ugh.....when does the semester end???

Yeah! Congrats...we just ours back too and I got an A! I was so excited because this practical was more difficult than A&P 201. Lets keep on trucking...

how many more graded components/tests do you have left compared to what you've already taken? i think you can turn your grade around, especially if the "drop" period has ended at your school. it's still early in the semester. make that low grade the motivation to do well.

I got my grade back for our first lab practical and I got a 70. I was a little disappointed but I am not worried at all because we can take a comphrensive final if we want to and that takes the place of our lowest grade, and the comp. final is totally optional. This test was over endocrine, blood, heart and arteries/veins and for me is the hardest one out of the entire semester. Last time I took A&P II, I made a 62 on this test so at least I have improved. The rest of the practicals will be a breeze compared to this one.

I also did not take pictures of the models, like I did in A&P I and I think that is why I made an A in that class. I took pics today of all the digestive models. Lecture is going great and I find it way easier than A&P I.

Hi there,

I have to agree with Isabella. How many quizzes and exams do you have left? If you average out 75% as a low for the remaining exams would you still be able to pull thru the class?

Does the instructor offer extra credit?

Talk with your instructor in regards to how you can remember things better to help you on your exams.

I used the above situation for A&P1 to ensure that I was able to do well. Going to the tutor center when I can to get help there as well. There are many options out there that may help with improving your grade.

A&P is not an easy class at all. By far, one of the hardest classes I have ever taken in college. I study all the time and freak out because I think i'm brain is going to melt with all the information we have to absorb.

Have you tried looking at online material to help out as well? There are a few websites that I use to help me. If you would like any of the sites, please PM me and I will send them to you.

Hang in there and I hope things start to turn around for you.

My test went well , I know I aced my lab because the prof went over the answers after the test , but I have to wait until next week to get my lecture test results:chair:. The test was of the endocrine system,Blood and the heart, most of the test consisted of the endocrine system (yuk!:sstrs:) ,but I felt pretty good about the test, I studied really hard and I know hard work pays off:D, now I need hit the books and continue on to the next chapter.:specs:

Im taking A&P II right now as well, and only got a 72 on my first test, bummer, but considering I thought I failed it lol, then I guess that isnt too bad. I can still get an A in that class easily enough, I still have four more tests to go through. hey koreysmom, just study your tushy off, dont quit yet. last semester, my first grade was a 54, brought my overall up to a 83, so its totally doable. Just hang in there! Check out mya and p. com, its an awesome site, and helps A LOT
