Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello everyone,

I thought I'd go ahead and start a thread for A&P II. Does anyone know if there's a process to request a thread being made sticky?

Has anyone been getting a jump start on class by reading ahead? I found my Prof's powerpoint notes online, so I'm making some flash cards as well :)

Peace,

Cathie

Well today was officially my last day. I have a B in the class which I expected. I'm glad I survived actually because I was taking American History and Math (algebra, trig, and geometry) with this course. Next time I will NOT take 3 classes, at the same time during the summer....yeesh LOL.

I took 3 classes during the summer session too. Wont do that again. One of em was A&P2. Just finished my 5th Unit exam on the Endocrine and Reproductive Systems.. It was a lil tough but I think I pulled through. Some of the essay questions sometime get me b/c I can't always explain something from start to finish. Like compare/contrast Spermatogenosis with oogenesis. The Endocrine system was a bit hairy too.. with all the hormones and target cells.. etc.. But my final is on Monday and my prof. is the same one as A&P1. She has told us that the Final is everything from the 4 unit exams which we keep, correct and do an exam analysis on. Can't wait to finish up with this tho. Then onto Microbiology, College Algeb & Psychology.

Thats cool, we didn't do a comprehensive exam for our final. It was on digestive system. Endocrine system and Repro was the easiest system in AP2 for me besides Cardiovascular, maybe because it was the first system we were taught so my brain was fresh and not mush by that time lol.

Good luck on the final.

so, i've been taking a&p ii this summer, and it has been stressful. my final exam was tuesday, july 24th, and i am sooooo happy to say that i made a 103 on it!!!!!! :roll:rotfl::smiley_aa:yelclap: i just checked my final grade in the class, and i have 711 points out of 700!!!!!!!! :balloons: this is the best i've ever done in any class in college, and it was anatomy & physiology ii!!!!!

Are we continuing with this thread for Fall '07 A&P II???

I start on the 27th. I bought my lab manual on Monday. I took A&P I this past June/July and thank goodness we're using the same book! Saved me another $160+! My school is using: Human Anatomy & Physiology by Marieb (7th ed.).

thats the book im using too. i start on sept 8th [sat classes rule ;)]

if we do the sections in the same order we can be online study buddies :monkeydance::lol2:

I just finished taking AP II over the summer (a 4 week course) and I only came out with a B. I thought I had an A for sure, but it turns out that the professor only puts a portion of your extra credit on your exams, and the rest is just thrown out. So instead of making a 93%, I ended up with an 87.6%! UGGGHHHH!! I'm so frustrated right now! And there's no way I want to take that class again, so the only way to get my GPA back up where I want it to be is to make A's in Micro and Patho in the fall.

Thanks for letting me vent, my husband (bless him!) doesn't understand why I'm not happy with a B.

Hey, I started my classes on Monday. I've already had one lab and have a lab quiz next week on Muscles. My first test is on August 27. I don't have my syllabus in front of me, so I will post my schedule later.

i was looking at my lab manual and it starts off with blood (ch17), but if we continue right after a&p I it would be the endocrine system...who knows!
