I did not see another thread, so I thought I would start one for fellow students to chat and get support. Anyone else taking A&P I this spring?
Just found this site but I am taking A&P I right now, I got a 90 on my first exam and an very nervous about the second, she is stressing this essay on cellular respiration in extreme detail that is worth 20 points. I asked a friend who took A&P at a different college, she was mind blown at the detail this professor wants.
Thanks SOOO much Meeep! I wouldn't have even thought to look. I got 109!!!! I'm so happy :) congrats on your awesome grade. We're killing it :)))
I figured a lot of people wouldn't be checking on the weekend. I only noticed because I am working on a history essay, so I had logged in to look at the grading rubric one more time. Was a pleasant surprise! A friend of mine in the thurs class got 112, so I am curious to see which ones I got wrong. I could have sworn there weren't that many bonus points on the test though, I wonder if there were a lot of questions thrown out. That does seem to vary by class depending on how many people got it wrong. I will find out tomorrow I suppose!
Jess- I study the same way, I aim for understanding rather than memorization. It's served me well thus far. I don't use flash cards though. I know they work really well for some people, but for me, they were a huge waste if time. I'd much rather study effectively opposed to quantity. Smarter, not harder! I highly recommend flash cards if you're the type of learner who can benefit from them though!

I was wondering the same. Bc the bonus questions were 3 points each. So an additional 6 points possible on our test. I would imagine that makes it out of 106? I have a feeling she may have thrown out a few questions. I'm dying to find out lol
Yeah, which I got 106 so I'm dying to know if I actually got them all right or if its from incorrect questions, or what's the deal with the thurs class, haha. I know the tests aren't the same, so it's possible more ques were thrown out in the tue/thurs than in the mon/weds. I'm purely speculating at this point though! :)

Congratulations to everyone who did good especially those who made over 100! Wow! That's impressive... keep it up!![/quote']
Thanks so much!!! I'm happy for the grades as I eat, sleep, breathe and dream Anatomy. It's kinda sad but I kinda enjoy it lol doesn't mean I'm not going to enjoy the crap out of this lovely (week and change) break we have coming up tho :)

I took A&P 1 in the fall and A&P 2 in the winter, and got an A+ in both classes. I found the key was not only memorizing the material but also understand the physiological concepts behind everything as well. I watched a lot of you tube videos, took detailed notes, and always asked the professors questions! Oh and flash cards, I would take them every where with me. Hope this can help someone =]
