A&P I for Spring 2009 who else??

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hey everyone, I m ready for A&P now. But need lots of advices and tips from those who r already done with A&P I. I heard it covers lots of medical definitions...How's lab? I don't really have any experience with lab before so need to know more about how to prepare myself for labs.

By the way who else is taking A&P I in coming spring?

hi i already took a&p. i would suggest making out some index cards and study those index cards any time you can. read the entire chapter, because sometimes there are a lot of small details that will appear on test that maybe the instructor did not go over. ask questions. lab was going over the bones of the body (been a while since i took I) hope this helps, good luck.

Hi, I'm Kelli. New here. I am taking A & P I in Spring 09 as well as micro and nutrition. Am I completely crazy? Kelli

Hi Kelli,

It will be really hard for u to take A&P and Microbiology together. But if u r not working part time or don't have any responsibilities, then u should be fine. If not just drop Micro by the midterm.

Best of luck :)

Thanks! This term I'm taking Gen Bio, Chem, and Dev Psych (doing a-b in all)So, all I'm left with is A & P I and II, Micro and Nutrition. I have to be done by fall of 2009 to apply for winter 2009. I have 2 small kids in school most of the day (when they're not sick!!) Any other way I should take them? For instance how about the short summer term for both a&P's?

I'd say take A&P II in summer because in order to understand A&P II, u have to first get done with A&P I. So, take A&P I, Micro and Nutrition if u can...it will be hard for u as u have to take care of kids while studying. And then take A&P II in summer. It does cover lots of stuff so not goin to be easy to read everything in short semester...but u can give it a try..People take it in summer so u can too.:wink2:

I'll be taking A&P1, Dietary Nutrition and Gen Psych in the spring. I'll be doing them all online however.

Thanks- I knew to take A & P II after A & P I in the summer, but someone told me to do micro with nutrition (online) this spring, and to wait and take both a & P's in the summer- both the short term. BUT my kids will be home during the summer months, so less time for me to study.....Think I'll stick with my original plan and do A & P I with micro and online nutrition this spring and do a & P II this summer! Thanks,

Kelli

This Spring 2009 quarter I'm going to be taking A&P 1, Intercultural Communication (required by my nursing school), and an easy PE class (I have to have a total of 12 credits for health insurance reasons). Good luck everyone!
