Need some advice before I start my prerequisites!
Hey everyone! Happy Mother's Day!!! I m starting my prerequisites from this summer. Goin to finish both English classes and 1 history in summer. I had a question about if it is okay to take A&P I and Psychology together in fall? If not then how should I take the classes? I m not sure which one is easier from all the prerequisites! I m supposed to take these prerequisites: English Composition 1 and 2, American History I or II, College Algebra (done), Human Growth & Development, A&P I and II, and Microbiology. So those of u who are already done with their prerequisites, can you please tell me how should i arrange my schedule? And also I m the beginner so any suggestion on how to study to keep the grades higher and steady? Thanks a bunch!

A&P I for Spring 2009 who else??
I'd say take A&P II in summer because in order to understand A&P II, u have to first get done with A&P I. So, take A&P I, Micro and Nutrition if u can...it will be hard for u as u have to take care of kids while studying. And then take A&P II in summer. It does cover lots of stuff so not goin to be easy to read everything in short semester...but u can give it a try..People take it in summer so u can too.:wink2:

A&P I for Spring 2009 who else??
Hi Kelli, It will be really hard for u to take A&P and Microbiology together. But if u r not working part time or don't have any responsibilities, then u should be fine. If not just drop Micro by the midterm. Best of luck :)

give me some advice
Hey don't worry about your English that much...once u get to USA, u'll automatically learn it like me. I m also Asian, originally from India :). And yah my English was also poor earlier. it isn't that good yet but it's improving. I suggest use (English) dictionary a lot. Don't avoid any word that you don't know or understand. Hope this helps

give me some advice
Hey. how's it goin? First of all, u need to be clear abt wat u r asking. I kinda understand wat u r askin though. Tell us abt your current occupation. Are you already in nursing school or wat? If not then apply to any nursing school in USA. Contact the admission's office and ask for the requirements for international students. You can do it by either emailing or calling them. The reason y I tell u to ask the college is because every college has different requirements here. What I can advice u is to take either TOEFL or SAT. If u dont make good scores in TOEFL then take SAT. TOEFL is harder than SAT though. Tell me in detail abt your questions. Bye :)

How to become an OB-GYN nurse?
Sorry to ask this question but I really wanna know the exact path of how can I become OB-GYN nurse. I have done some research about it but would like to know more. I m in ADN program and would like to know after I become a RN, would I have to go to OB-GYN speciality in BSN program? How long does it take to become an OB-GYN after I become a RN? Thanks! Jalpa!

Which are the best and worth Nursing schools in GA?
Hey JoJo_Ga_Girl, thanks a lot for the informations that u gave me. I looked on Emory University school of nursing website to find out if I could transfer to its program after getting done with my pre-requisites. I m in ASN program currently and would like to transfer to Emory if possible. But I saw BSN-RN, MSN-RN and some other programs of nursing but nothing abt ASN. I mean I want to transfer just after I get done with pre-requisites but to become a RN not BSN yet. Do u know anything abt transferring policy at Emory? I will continue my BSN after start working as a RN but first I wanna become a RN. Any idea? Jalpa!

Which are the best and worth Nursing schools in GA?
See Emory is my first choice and Clayton State University is the second. I think if I really get accepted to Emory then I would have lots of benefits including hand-on experiences and then no worries after getting done with RN plus more passing rates of NCLEX at Emory. But the only thing puts me down is its fees . If u don't mind telling me, wat's its tuition fees for a semester(with how many classes a semester)? And would u say over 3.00 is the GPA to get accepted to its program? Jalpa!

Which are the best and worth Nursing schools in GA?
Hey thanks for the information...First, I might think of MCG but only if it's around 40-45 miles away from my home. Second, I have no kids yet and not thinking to get one until I become a nurse. So, I will probably go for BSN-RN. thank you so much for helping me. Good luck to u...
