I'd like to know, too. I bought my book new, and it came with the histology insert, but I didn't get a CD either. I do have access to the website. Is there anywhere we can purchase the CD, and I only have the Anatomy book. Where I am taking the class, Anatomy is one semester and Physiology is another semester.
here is a link to the cd-rom that came with the book. it looks like you can purchase it seperately as a dvd or cd-rom. mine came with the marieb textbook human anatomy & physiology 7th edition. not sure if it came with international versions or used. i didn't have to read as much using the cd-rom. it's called "interactive physiology 9-system suite". it didn't have an isbn number because it came with the book. i think this is the exact same thing:
isbn/upc:080536126x
here may be a few other copies of what looks to be the same thing:

Hi Holly 5477: I also was lost at first with A&P I but I found that if I printed out the Anatomy part of it: re: bones and things and spread them out on the floor, all around the livingroom and every time I walked by I would look at them. Sometimes I was just going from the living room to the kitchen and somehow that sunk in for me. I know my living room looked like a hurricane but it worked for me I got an A. My husband was looking at me strange and sometimes it looked like twister in my livingroom but it worked.
I did'nt do so good in Lab though, I got a D. I just freaked out when we were all lined up in the Practicum. I felt so pressured. I retook it online the next semester and really without studying recieved an A+, go figure, I guess without the pressure to perform, so to speak, I excelled. To each his own though, just thought I would give my experience to try to balance the scales a little. Good luck and believe me you will do fine.:bowingpur:redbeathe
Thanks for your support! I have the Interactive Physiology 10-System Suite Cd-ROM...and so far it is okay. I tried going to MY A and P, or The A and P Place (everything seems to be the same thing.. :) Who knows, I guess I will try the diagrams all over the floor...that might work for me!! :) Since I have 3 little boys...maybe the Anatomy coloring book is a good idea!!! haha :anpom:
Have a good night guys! And if anyone wants to add me as a friend---feel free! Maybe we can help each other out!
I took Anatomy and Physiology I together as I said in the earlier post and I thought I might help you with a website that helped me. I do not learn well reading from a text. I do better with visual stuff. I logged on to "The winking skull" and it is all about labeling and it is kind of fun. I did so well after this site and continued to use it in A&P II. Hope this helps.:redbeathe:bowingpur
I 2nd (3rd, 4th, 5th lol) the Marieb website. I had a craptastic lecture prof so after the first few weeks of class I just said screw it and studied on my own at home and only went to class to take quizzes and tests and still got an A. The online material that comes w/ the book saved my bacon. I love their practice tests and matching. It is a lot of material and the book is wordy like someone else mentioned. I just try and break it down into more manageable sections. I do a lot of flashcards and flow charts.

I bought my book used, so there was no CD unfortunately. I did however today pay for the access to the website and started taking the quizzes. Very helpful.
What does the CD have on it that the 'pay' website doesn't?
