  1. I barely studied...and I guess it came back to haunt me. I only got into the LPN program, and missed the RN program by 5 points. So...STUDY STUDY STUDY!!!!! Not that there is anything wrong with getting into the LPN Program...I am happy now!!! Some people are on waiting lists for years! But, I would definitely say get the TEAS Study Guide by ATI. That is what I used and it is pretty similar. Good Luck!!!!
  2. I just took my TEAS test on Tuesday. I would definitely review geology/earth science....there are questions about volcano/plates/earthquake kinda stuff.... I know it sounds stupid :) but, I wasn't expecting it at all! I agree with the post before me.....REVIEW your Periodic Table!!! English, Vocab., Reading...etc....was a breeze for me. Good Luck!!!
  3. Thanks so much! I have been so busy the past week, I haven't had time to focus--But, your ideas were great
  4. i have to do a project for my class on the nervous system....yeah i know there is a lot to the nervous system, but i think it just needs to be the basics!! does anyone have any good game ideas involving the nervous system...or something fun to do to get my class involved?? i want my project to be great, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! i looked up most of the websites for ideas...but most of them are either way too advanced for my class...or directed for elementary school...... i would love to do something fun....help!
  5. are there any teas practice tests available online that are similar to the real test?? and....not have to pay the $30 bucks?? just wondering! thanks!
  6. Thanks for your support! I have the Interactive Physiology 10-System Suite Cd-ROM...and so far it is okay. I tried going to MY A and P, or The A and P Place (everything seems to be the same thing.. :) Who knows, I guess I will try the diagrams all over the floor...that might work for me!! :) Since I have 3 little boys...maybe the Anatomy coloring book is a good idea!!! haha :anpom: Have a good night guys! And if anyone wants to add me as a friend---feel free! Maybe we can help each other out!
  7. Hi there! Thanks so much for all your input :typing I took my quiz last night, and I got an 86.07...so it's not an A...but I am feeling a little better! I think I need to read A LOT more in order to get an A! Good luck to you as well!! Message me anytime!:dncgbby:
  8. i started a & p: i on january 12th. i am using the marieb book (if anyone else is too!) i feel sooo overwhelmed. i took basic a & p last semester, and breezed through it. i know a & p is serious work, but can anyone give me some tips to boost my grade?? i just took a quiz and i got a 79.2...uggh! one of the main problems i think, is that this class is online!! complete craziness! i have taken about 7 classes online, and made all a's. so, i am used to the self-discipline involved, in order to do well in these classes. i have another quiz tomorrow, and i am scared! any ideas??? please...i cannot drop this class, because i will receive a w/f.... thanks, if anyone can help me out!! and happy valentine's day!!! :heartbeat

  13. ok, i posted a thread a few days ago about lpn vs rn programs. i am totally scared now!! i want to work in a hospital, and apparently from replies, info on the internet...etc....lpns are not being hired for hospital care anymore!! i have to decide within a matter of weeks which program i want to take! i was going to do the lpn program, because i need some extra money to help with bills, and with 3 small children...it just seemed like the logical choice for me. i am soooo confused, and i wish someone could point me in the right direction! i am currently in a cna program which ends in april. i could use that income to help with bills in the meantime...but why take the lpn program...if no one will hire me...but ltc facilities. i am a hospital girl! please help!! :urgycld:~holly~ :flwrhrts:thank you!!!! good luck to everyone :heartbeat
