I'm taking A&P 1 right now, and thanks in part to my professor, I'm actually enjoying it. It's a little challenging, but very interesting. I'm finding the links that were posted here to be useful as well as the an online source for the book we're using. you have to have the book for the code or buy access, but here's the website: www.myaandp.com. Personally, I'm using the green book with the tennis player on the front. Without the book, access is $35 and may be worth it for you. It has quizes and diaghrams you can match words too. Here is the link to all nurses where someone else posted good links: https://allnurses.com/pre-nursing-student/p-1-spring-354966.html

Feel free to message me if you need anything, I'll be happy to try and help - it helps me study too! Good luck, and don't give up!
It's hard for me to say if it's worth it or not, because for me it's been so helpful. I found out after my first exam a couple of days ago that my professor gets a lot of his questions straight from the chapter quizes you get from the online access. The only thing I'm not sure about is how much access you get for the $35. I would assume you get everything except the E-book. What is it that you are having the hardest time with?
I didnt know that there is such an online class for A&P! Sorry about what your going through. Is there anyway that you can switch to sit in class. i think that will benefit you more, and understand the subject better. plus, you wo'nt struggle so much in nursing if you master your A&P. good luck!
I found the online access helpful, but the CD-ROMs that came with the book were the most helpful to me BY FAR!!!!!!!!!!!! It consisted of animations of the complex concepts that made it all very clear to me.
As for online access, the case studies and quizzes were helpful. It had anatomy sections where you could match the terms to the anatomical landmark and reset it to quiz yourself over and over. Nice for testing your memory and for those who are visual learners. I recieved A's in both A&P 1 &2. It helped me, perhaps it will help you too.
Marieb has fantastic resources. Use the CD and the website if your instructor has set one up. It really does help to use them regularly and I found that a lot of the questions from the website came up in the tests. There's a lot of information to take in but if you can work on recalling as much of it as possible rather than just reading over and over (huge waste of time), you will be fine.
AAHHH...very interesting. I was wondering about that. I just had my first midterm this past week, and don't think I did that great, and studied a ton! I was wondering after the test if it would help to check out the website. It seemed that the test came directly from the book, and not so much the lecture. Thank you so much for this suggestion. I am going to check the website out right now. You're right...I kept reading and reading. Thanks! I will let you all know how I do on my second midterm in a few weeks!

I am not taking Anatomy online, but we are using the Marieb book as well. It is very overwhelming. We just had our first test last week, and I studied a lot, but I know I didn't do that well. Practically the whole class came out of there surprised. I think the teacher made the test based on the book. His lecture didn't even cover 50% of what was on the exam. Needless to say, I am now freaked out about the rest of the semester. I do agree that you should go to tutoring, especially since the class is online.
