Ok, a thread like this is inevitably started every semester and since I just got home from registering I thought I'd take the opportunity to start the thread for this coming Fall. Who's with me and what other classes will you be taking, if any. Aside from A & P 1 I'm taking sociology....
Good Luck everyone!!!!
Well after some creative schedule changes my current schedule looks like this:
A&P I w/ lab
Hist 103 (1800 and on or something..) lol
and I'm retaking Eng Comp I (I got a C in it and so far I have taken half of my pre-reqs and only have 2 C's but my counselor says that one has to go... I'm planning on Spring of 2010... so I have a year and some change to go. But I only have about 7 classes left to take. I just finished up Eng Comp 2 and got a B... Have a great day everyone!
After being an LVN for 34 years, completing court reporting school and raising my son, I've decided to do it; going to go back and get my RN!
I'll be taking AP again to bolster my GPA and Computer Literacy.
I'll do these online and try to muster up the courage to do Algebra also but
haven't had Algebra since high school....100 years ago:)
I really need help with Algebra so any suggestions, tips would be soo appreciated!
TIA,
Alici:smokin:a

Someone on this forum posted some excellent Math links when I was having problems with my Dosage Calc class. Problem is, I bookmarked them on my yahoo toolbar and the yahoo toolbar got deleted so I no longer have them. Maybe that person will see your post and re-post them.
I am registered for Anatomy and Physiology I. I am so nervous! I hear horrifying stories... *shivers*
I herard the same thing about A&P at my shool...and I will be taking it in the fall. The thing is, I took a more basic science class and it was taught by the instructor that I will have for A&P. I thought she was great!! Just go in with an open mind...and don't be afraid to ask for help. A lot of the students at my school organize study groups for the class too. Maybe you can get together with some people andf do something like that.
After moving across the country and just getting enrolled in a new college last week, this is what i'm taking, starting the 18th:-A&P I
-Gen. bio I
-Bioethics
10 units, so it doesn't seem too bad. Guess I'll see for sure next week :)
Ww!! A&P is 6 credits by itself at my school. That'd be like 16 credits at my school. Good luck!!
trying to keep it going for you guys.... i just had my 2nd lecture today! i feel alot better about all of the information today than i did the first day of class and lab! i think having lecture and lab all in one day kinda psyched me out and made me feel like i'm never going to learn this in time! i've just been taking it one step at a time! reading chapters before we go over them in lecture, making notecards, making outlines, doing supplemental quizzes/tests!
if anyone is using the "fundamentals of anatomy & physiology" book by martini/nath 8th edition, i strongly suggest you get the study guide that goes along with the book by charles m. seiger! it has been extremely helpful! lots of quizzes, tests, fill-in blank diagrams, review of concepts, essays, ect! i love it! also the www.myaandp.com website that is in the book really helps alot too!!! :bowingpur
hope this helps some of you guys!!! lets keep this forum going!!!

Hi everyone. I am taking A&P I this fall too. Classes start Aug 18th and I can't wait. I too am going back to school after a 9 year break (13 years if you count since HS graduation!
) I have my BS already and the only pre-reqs I need are A&P I and II. I plan on applying for my program by Sept and hope to get in next fall. I am also married with a 5 year old and twins who are three. :wink2:
Hoping to get to know all of you better!
