Just wanted to start a "club" for those of us who are taking A&P 1 this fall.
My class is 16 weeks. I have lecture on M/W/F for one hour each day and lab on Tues for 3 hrs.
My teacher for lecture & lab (same person) is awesome! She gives us a weekly quiz, drops the lowest one. Gives us extra credit. Four major tests. Final is comprehensive. (Ick)
She gave us handouts for chapter 1 and we just fill in what we want as she pretty much has everything she wants in these handouts. She told us we don't have to bring our big, heavy book to class - she'd tell us page numbers of tables, pictures she wanted us to know. As a matter of fact - she said we don't have to use the book that was sold to us for this semester. She said we could use any book like Saladin, etc., and make copies if any diagram, table is different. Pretty nice there.
Great job live4rachael! I think I still have my A too. That final was a breeze. There were a few questions I didn't know, but I think overall it wasn't bad. And he curved the practical 5%! That was awesome. How did you do on that? I got a 91 but after the curve I got a 96...and I was certain I had a B on that thing. You should see some of my answers!
I got an 85 on the practical so a 90 with the curve. The arm and leg muscles screwed me up, I got a bunch of the terms mixed up. I got everything else right.
Yeah, there were a few questions on the final that caught me off-guard but most of it was darn easy. Yay!
He's got the practical and homework points posted on the website but no 4th test or final test yet.
I just fininshed my final. I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm right on the cusp between an A and an A+ (the fact that this is possible is something I'm still trying to wrap my head around). Hopefully we'll get our grades by Monday.

I am done too I finished last week but it will be a while before our grades our in, we aren't officially finished until next week so I have to wait for everyone else to finish up. I still have my Chem final looming over my head too I will be so glad to be done this smester.
I fairly certain I still have an A in AP but would like to see it in print, I had a 105% going into the last exam so unless something really bizzarre happened I assume I have an A.
I got a 104 on my lab final, and I still had 12 points bonus to add so I got a perfect score on the lab portion of my class, and even better news is since we take five tests, our teacher drops our lowest test grade, so he'll drop my 80, so I actually have over a 100 in A&P I, but boy has it been hard.
I just found out that I have a perfect final grade for Lab!!! I have my final lecture exam on Monday, and I have about a 96% avg for the lecture portion. Looks like I can leave A&P 1 with an A!!
I just finished test five and the lab practical. My lab grade is a C. So far I have an 80 on the lecture part. I am so nervous, but yet so excited about taking the final to get this over with. I am so excited I might be coming out of this class with a B average.:monkeydance: Everyone please wish me luck.
smattles- Congrats! I got my A too... took him long enough to post the grades. Best of luck to you in nursing school! By the time I start, you'll be graduating!!!! :)

Yay, A&P is done, my final was tonight. Whew... Grades will be posted on Friday but I'm pretty sure I've still got my A. Now a month off before A&P 2!
