A&P 1 and 2 combined

I know one brave soul in Allnurses is taking both in the same semester. I think that would be a terrible load to carry. A&P 1 will be tough enough. I guess it can be done. Best of luck to you.

I don't have a choice. If I don't take this class, it will take an extra semester to get through school. We have 10 hours of class a week for the next 16 weeks...hopefully I do well.

My A & P class is crammed into one semester. The instructor is good though, so I'm not terribly worried.

At my school A&P are seperate, but I have seen plenty of people taking anatomy and physio at the same time, same as talking A&P 1and 2 at the same time, not easy, but do-able

Are there any local colleges running on the quarter system? That's the only way I could imagine myself taking both in the equivalent of one semester (basically one quarter after another... there's one school in Georgia that does it like that. Spring 1 and then Spring 2 or Fall 1 and then Fall 2)

That sounds like a good system. Get one of them out of the way before the other rather than trying to cover both at the same time.

I took them both during the summer; 5 weeks each back to back. It was intense but I enjoyed it.

I am taking A&P 1 with lab and A&P 2 with lab this semester, 2 different courses and 2 labs. I have a test on chapters on 1-4 at the same time as I have a test on chapters 11-13. This should be interesting. :uhoh3:

We're using "Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology" 8th addition, another book with the same title 3rd addition laboratory manual, 2 photographic atlases, an disk for online stuff and a coloring book.
