I took A&P I and gen chem II together this past spring and found it to be very doable. I work full time so a lot of my "free time" was spent studying, but I never felt overwhelmed. Good luck!

I did the same thing in the spring of '04 (while working full time) and didn't have any problems, but I would talk to some other students and find out what the instructors are like. It's always been my experience that the instructor's style can determine how much of a courseload you can handle!
Unfortunately I also think this is a very subjective question, dependent on a lot of factors.
Thanks for your input. I am going to take them this fall semester. At my college they also offer tutoring if needed. I took A&P over 6 years ago so hopefully most of it will be a review. It's just the CHM I worry about because I know what to expect of the A&P class. Thanks
That is so true. I have checked with other students and have an idea of what professors I should take.
Thanks

I had to take two quarters of Anatomy and Chemistry with other classes. It is completely doable, especially since you have taken anatomy before. Good luck!

I took A&P, and Chm together along with other courses and it was doable. Although I must admit I really struggled with Chemistry. Chemistry was hard for me, and I had to put alot more into it.. A&P came easy for me??? Don't know why???? But I have Chm II to take in the fall along with Microbiology.Wish me luck. I KNOW you can do it!
Thanks for the encouragement everyone, I feel alittle better about taking these courses. I will be starting classes in Aug.
Best Wishes......

I think that if you are comitted and able to devote extra study time you should be okay. Several of my friends found it challenging, yet doable. It all depends on your teacher and the time you are able to put into it. I personally just took one science at a time with gen ed's because it would be quite challenging to me.
Good luck. :)
