Hi, my name is Stephanie and I want to start a thread for everyone applying to A&M Round Rock for Spring of 2015!
Hi guys!
I have been creeping on this (and many other) forum for a while and finally decided to join! I have also applied for the 2015 2nd degree nursing program and hoping to get in at the round rock location! I was confused a little confused and didn't realize nursingCAS and BAMF weren't connected so I just now realized I need to do my background check and I'M FREAKING OUT a little tiny bit… did I wait too long? Also, I went to the background check website and am even more confused, am I making this more complicated than it should be. I don't know which option to even click. Help

Hi! So my advice would be to contact Vanessa ASAP and ask her what to do. I'm not sure if they've already made their decisions and whether or not that is something they look at before/after. From what I remember, you need to follow the fingerprinting instructions, which involves going to one of their designated locations and getting your fingerprints done. You will receive a blue card in the mail within a few weeks if you have a clear background. From what I understand, we submit our blue cards upon admissions (they will request them I think). Hopefully that is somewhat helpful.
Has anyone in this forum applied to A&M Second Degree Program before? I applied last year and didn't get in. I'm not real sure how the process is working for people who have applied before. I did not get a supplemental application, but I got my blue card in the mail without going to get fingerprinted. I did that last year, of course, so I guess it is still good for this year. I've called Vanessa but she hasn't called me back yet.

That's encouraging to learn. The only other program I applied to was ACC. Know I won't get in on the first attempt, but good to start accumulating application points. If I don't get into TAMHSC at Round Rock, ACC is my back up. Fingers crossed for everyone!
