A&M Round Rock 2nd degree 2015

Published

Hi, my name is Stephanie and I want to start a thread for everyone applying to A&M Round Rock for Spring of 2015!

Oh! and I added 2 more references. Just trying everything I can!

that's good!!! Gosh that makes me a lot more nervous about getting in. my GPA is 3.82 and I got a 92.8 on my Hesi. I have a phlebotomy certification and experience doing vitals, injections, CPR certification, volunteer experience, and stuff like that but it sounds like you had a solid app last year and didn't get it :(

When did you find out??

Well, the way I see it, if I don't get in, at least that gives me more time to save up money for school in the future, and thus carry less student loans later on. There's a silver lining for every cloud :)

I believe I found out in September but it may have been October. I think the app deadline was a little later last year. I was also told that there were more applicants from A&M last year and they get preference.

that makes sense, the wait is killing me though! If we find out in September that would be AMAZING!

I applied to TAMHSC (Round Rock) for Spring 2015 and awaiting a response. I haven't received instructions to take the background, have you all? Lets keep each other updated and good luck to all!

My alma matter was Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, I wonder if that would give my application preference.

I like your positive thinking! As for me I know it would be a let down to not be accepted to at least one of five universities I applied.

Hi, everyone! I also applied to TAMHSC 2nd degree program in Round Rock for Jan 2015. Got the supplemental app, got fingerprinted, got my blue card. Can't wait to get an answer! My nursing science gpa is 4.0 and my HESI was 97. I have some volunteer experience, but not a lot, so I'm nervous about that.

My stats are similar to yours. When I went in several months ago to talk to admissions, I was told to not stress if I couldn't find time to volunteer at that point if I kept my grades as competitive as they were. I'm more worried about my essay, since it's higher up the priority list. I feel I wrote well, but just couldn't convey exactly what I wanted in just a page. I'm also worried that this is the only one I'm applying for this round because it's the only one I will have completed prereqs for by the end of this semester. It's A&M or wait another year...

I received my card too! Yay, super excited!

Yay that's awesome!!! What are your stats for Hesi & nursing science GPA?
