One court has determined Jack Smith was illegally appointed.
He has a history of being overly-aggessive. One of his prosecutions was overturned unanimously by the Supreme Court.
It was all about getting Trump.
He would have more credit if other prosecutors going after Trump didn't campaine on "getting Trump" . Legally it doesn't relate but visually and circumstantialy it does.
QuoteWhile there is undoubtedly potential conflicts of interests at agencies like the FDA and the CDC, Kennedy has long relied on junk science and misinformation to make his claims about the health of certain foods, vaccines, medications and fluoride.

I was reading about his anti-seed oil stance, a stance that has been debunked. I'm concerned that he's going to erode's people's trust in their own doctor's advice.
I think we are a very unhealthy nation and in need of some evidenced based, science bath facts and he's not going to be the one to deliver that.

Yes. I agree. I like that he is focused on health but some of his ideas ring pseudoscience.
Doesn't floride occure naturally in fresh water streams?
I most certainly do not think he should be the "health czar".

I agree with you, and think this would be a really bad choice for the position.

Flouride has been controversial. I don't know if it's a naturally occurring thing in fresh water but it is added to water and toothpaste. I think if it was poisoning us my generation would be feeling its as water and toothpaste has been fluorinated my entire life. I would listen to an argument around science and studies.
Another thing is we are finding that fluoride and antiseptic mouthwashes are harmful to the oral microbiome that is helpful in raising nitric oxide levels which are good for the heart. Then again some oral bacteria are harmful leading to heart problems.
But we need science, not conspiracy. Sometimes science doesn't have the answers and science changes over time.
Tom Homan is named Trump's new border czar. He does seem to be experienced.
What's interesting about him is that he co-authorized Project 2025, the document Trump doesn't know much about.

I think to say that he "co-authored" is quite a bit of an exaggeration.
He was one of a few hundred people who contributed ideas that were included in it. My understanding is that his contribution was limited to ideas that had to do with border and immigration policy.
