Just had my intake interview and I dont have to take Bio Chemistry or Statistics because I have a BSN already! :)I was so nervous about that! Now all I have to do is focus on my 38 hr of Core classes for the MSN education. I am doing the happy dance and praying that everything goes well with financial aid and getting everything paid as I geared up for May 1st start date!

Yep they don't make you take any undergrad courses if going from BSN to MSN. :)

That's great news

Yes! Congratulations! Now you get to focus solely on your upper division courses!

I am taking Biochem but I don't have to take statistics since I took it less than 3 years ago. I am starting on April 1st and I have been looking over the biochem info. and so far it's everything I already did in college biology etc. I am not sure why they make everyone take it if we've already had college bio and chemistry, but I have to just suck it up and do it.

Good luck!!

Woohoo!! Awesome!! I am also doing MSN-Education!!! Just finishing my research proposal. You can do it!

That is awesome Lindsey! Have you started your 90 service hours. How far are u in the program?

The 90 service hours are for completing your bachelor portion. Yes, I did complete that in 2-3 weeks. Just find a topic you are passionate about and it will be that much easier for you to complete the task. Good luck!!

Yes, the 90 hours are only for the BSN portion and are in community health. The "new" MSN (those starting after 9/2013) has an additional field experience that is related to your 'major', either in education or in leadership.
