I just graduated from South University. I enjoyed the program and it was doable for me. I worked fulltime with the rotating 12 hours shift in the ER. For the last 2 classes, I saved up my PAL time at work and just worked the weekends. The best experience was graduation and the hooding ceremony. It was excellent! I am still on cloud 9 after 2 weeks. I had a few job offers while in the program. It is not easy at all and you will spend your time learning a lot. I recommend the program because it isn't about writing papers. I had some very hard tests and the school provides a FNP review. I plan on continuing with South University for the DNP program. I just got my acceptance letter today.

I have a rotating 3/4 schedule 7a to 7p. I plan on working this until clinicals and then I will use my PAL time for days off.

How are the tests in adv patho? Do you have to write papers too?

I start south university next week. I dont know anyone else who is going to grad school. I don't even know what to ask. Im still shocked

I got accepted to South university on Friday. I have my clinical sites. I understand they will be graduating their first fnp class in August. When did you start?

Interesting that South is pricey because I was interested in Simmons college and their price was more than double per credit hour. South is much cheaper.

My radiology friends are happier than my nursing friends and make excellent money too. At my facility, hardly any turnover in employees. But they are limited in where they can work. More opportunities in nursing. I have a coworker that started in radiology and is now a nurse. She works in the er and radiology prn. You can do both if you wish

I graduated from UOP in Nov 2005. I worked fulltime nights and did the BSN. It worked for me and I learned so much!!
