Hey I'm also applying to the 2018 ap BSN can you guys add me [email protected]

Hi Beebee10!:), i just finished intro to professional nursing, you need to have the books required for the subject, most of the test/quizzes will be from the chapters assigned for you to read during that week. Hope that helps...good luck! If you need anything let me know if I can help....:)

Hey, I just finished Medical Terminology yesterday, and I am currently halfway through with Patho and Pharm. My advise is take Patho first, and do not take them together! Do not take either of these classes with another heavy science... make sure your A&P I and II are done before you take these. The material is very intricate and they expect you to already have your foundations from previous courses. You will not be babied in any way... You are not given the chance to review your exam after the deadline, grades are no longer rounded, and there's a 70% pass rule... you have to score 70% or above on your exams or you automatically fail these classes. Additionally if you fail one, you cannot apply for the program for a full year. So tread with caution, take your time, and study study study.

Pappa22v thank you for the advise...:) im planning to take patho next sem....

I'm applying to the Bsn program at university of Arlington Texas. I have a GPA of 2.3 overall. My degree is in psychology....I have a couple of withdrawals and retakes. Do you think I get in? If I get accepted. I would have to take the pre requisites first...do you think if I get good grades in the pre reqs I can get in the program?

All that is stated in the program requirements is a 2.75 in prereqs. Definitely doing well in the pre-reqs will help because they may look at this as a gauge as to how you will do in the program.

I'm applying for Spring 2018, too. I'm in South Texas. I'm graduating with my Associate's of Science in Biology in May. I'll have a few classes to take before the Nursing program like many of you.

Has anyone taken the HESI yet? I'm waiting on my test date. I've been studying for the TEAS for another program I'm applying to. I wonder how similar it is.

Specializes in Mother/Baby.

Unless I get extremely lucky and someone drops a seat in A&P 2 for march, I won't be done with it until July, which will put me at applying for Fall '18. Not super thrilled about that, but it is what it is, I suppose.

I haven't taken the HESI yet, when is your test date? I keep meaning to schedule it and getting sidetracked. Looks like I will have plenty of time now.

Don't stress, that will change all the time. Did you put yourself on the waitlist???

I'm not sure there is one for that class, or I don't know how to do it correctly. Both are equally likely. But you are right, no use stressing over having to wait another semester!

There is a waitlist, have you sent the advisor an email? They can help you navigate. You will also want to pay attention around the drop day for AP I the previous round, if someone drops API, they will need to remove APII from their registration.

I'm not sure yet - you request a test date and they contact you a few days later with one I think.
