Fresno

U.S.A. Texas

Published

I'm hoping to hear from Texans who live in or have information about Fresno, preferably nurses or students. Basically I want to know what the area is like and how is the commute to the Med Center or neighboring hospitals. I also would like ANY feedback on the area. I love the homes there and I'm concerned about safety for my young child (after school). I'm in NY right now but will locate to Houston in the future.

TIA

Fresno?

I've lived in Houston nearly my entire life and the closest Fresno I'm familiar with is the one in the middle of California.

There's a Frisco outside Dallas; is that what you meant?

edit: Okay, I googled it and apparently Fresno is a suburb of Missouri City. I'm not hugely familiar with that area, but considering you have easy access to 288, I'd imagine it wouldn't be too bad getting to the med center at all from there.

If you are relocating to Fresno, the commute to the MedCtr is actually about 20/25min without traffic. Fresno is a nice area to live in. Working families, as safe as any area would be if you are an alert parent(which I don''t doubt). It is the suburbs, but you can't let your guard down anywhere, you know. It really is a nice, quiet area to reside in. I know plenty people that live in Fresno, and they really love their area of choice. Hope this helps you.

Never knew there was a Fresno in TX. Looked at the map and see that Pasadena and Richmond are nearby.
